DRC: FDRL attack in Walikale escalets

Walikale-The FDLR attack took place this week in the night between Wednesday and Thursday in the town of Boboro, about twenty miles north of the capital of territoire.Les Boboro attackers spoke Kinyarwanda, Kitembo and kihunde.

Several villages in Walikale in North Kivu have been victims of armed attacks during the month of April. Local residents believe FDRL is behind the attack which leaves the villages routed.

Other armed attacks were recorded in April, in other localities of the territory, including Omate and Oninga and the axis Kashebe Walikale.

At Omate Oninga and the assailants were identified as Mai Mai Cheka.

The security situation is worrying in Walikale.

The national deputy Muhima Sabini, elected in that territory is even believe that war is not over yet.”I hear that the war is over in North Kivu. But, in any case, not at home in Walikale. The war is not over, “he says.

However, the FARDC are reassuring: no area will remain without being released.

Major Mavian cell communication operations leo the Amani said: “That the people of Walikale is quiet. We can not abandon it. We will dismantle the FDLR as we have dismantled Rusthuru and Masisi. ”
