President Paul Kagame has today made an impromptu visit to Uganda amid growing accusation of being behind the rebellion in DRC. His plane landed at Entebbe international Airport at Mid-day.

The visit caught Ugandan authorities unawares and last minute preparations were done in hurry. Only President Museveni apparently was aware of the visit and it was kept secret until today morning.

Neither Kampala nor Kigali, did announce the visit. However, sources in the security circles told Great Lakes Voice, that DR Congo violence is on agenda.

Fighting in DR Congo has escalated following the government forces involved in assassination of the Banyamulenge chief in South Kivu.

FDLR has profited the violence and mutiny in Eastern DRC by taking over some areas which were earlier occupied by Congolese regular army [FARDC]

Human rights watch say they have evidence that Rwandans recruits were sent to help M23 and DR Congo government announced that Rwanda is behind the conspiracy to destabilize DRC prompting hash anger on Rwanda’s foreign affairs minister Mushikiwabo accusing DRC for failing to solve their internal matters only using Rwanda as “escape goat”.

Efforts to get to Rwanda’s Foreign and regional cooperation, Louise Mushikibo was futile for she couldn’t pick her mobile phone.
