Mugesera appears to Nyarugenge Court

Kigali, Rwanda-Looking relaxed in a dark blue suit, exactly at 08:45 local time, for the first time, Len Mugesera has today appeared before Nyarugenge high court to attend to his charge shit.

Since his deportation from Canada on 24th January following his 17year straggle with Canadian Justice resisting deportation, Mugesera has requested the court two months for preparations and familiar with the advocates to appear in court.

Mugesera is facing three main charges including masterminding Genocide, inciting the community to kill Tutsi and supplying machetes to murder the Tutsi.

State prosecution led by Ndibwami Rugambwa said its Mugesera’s Constitutional rights to have the time and get the lawyers he trusts.

Mugesera said to have been given time by prosecutor general to call to Canada to get the lawyers he want.

The court after receiving his plea, the judge said Mugesera will be brought to back to court by April 02, 2012. He continue his temporary detention.
