RDRC chairperson Jean Sayinzoga passes on

Jean Sayinzoga the chairperson of Rwanda Demobilisation and Reintegration Commission (RDRC), passed away on Sunday April 16th at King Faisal Hospital in Kigali.

Latest reports indicate that the descended suffered from Liver cancer, also known as hepatic cancer; a cancer that starts in the liver and spreads from elsewhere due to hepatitis B, hepatitis C.

However attempts to get in touch with the family members were unfruitful since their they were unreachable.
The descended has left behind a family and children among them is Kampeta Pitchette Sayinzoga who serves as Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the Treasury of Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning at Republic of Rwanda.

Burial date is yet to be announced.

According to medical reports, the annual mortality rate per 100,000 people from liver cancer due to hepatitis C in Rwanda is reported to have increased by 1.4% per 2013.
