Rwanda ex-Prime Minister to get EALA seat

Kigali, Rwanda-Ex-Rwandan Prime Minister Pierre Celestin Rwigema is among eighteen candidates who have been fronted by the ruling party RPF-Inkotanyi for East Africa Legislative assembly seat representing Rwanda.

The statement from Rwanda Parliament communication office say Rwigema, 59, is among the candidates who have been nominated for the seat. Rwanda will need to send nine people only in EALA.

Parliament has got the list of 18 people presented by electoral commission for the two chambers of the parliament to elect only nine people to join the regional assembly.

Rwigema was Prime minister 1995-2000 recently returned from 11 years exile in USA. After his arrival, he told journalists he will do whatever Rwandans would entrust him with.
