Rwanda has enough support to be in UN Security Council-Gov’t

Rwanda is looking forward from the rotational seat to UN Security Council next year to replace South Africa, government official has said.

With a vision to create a direct bridge between United Nations and Africa Union, Rwanda is using peace keeping credentials to gain the seat.

“We have a lot to bring in; our country is the first growth from post conflict. Our economy is among the first growing and we have peace keeping credentials” Mushikiwabo said during the press conference is New York

Rwanda is serving five different peace keeping missions in the world. There forces are lauded as professional and most disciplined.

Rwanda got East Africa Community go ahead, African Union recommendation. Rwanda has moved the campaign to Europe and USA now officials say they have got enough support needed to take the seat.

 Rwanda’s president Paul Kagame has been praised by world leaders and scholars alike for raising Rwanda from ashes of Genocide to what they call Singapore of Africa.
