Six feared dead in Mandera, Al-shabab is suspected

Kenya-Today, at least six people are feared dead in an attack targeted at a vehicle transporting KCSE materials in Mandera (near the north-east Kenya-Somalia border) as police rush to the scene.

This incident is feared to have been master minded by Al- Shabab.

Al-Shabab leaders have however refuted the claims.

Kenya military officials say Kenya has already dispatched hundreds of Kenyan soldiers to calm the situation in anticipation of another possible attack.

Recently Kenya sent its troops on the Somalia territory with the aim of flashing out Al -Shabab militants, who the government claimed were responsible for the instability along their shared border. The Kenyan response was not welcomed by the by the militants who ‘promised to visit Kenya soon.”

    Our gorvenment security has to be more alert as we have come to learn that Al shabab has recruited many young Kenyans thus making our country total insecure,the gorvenment has to charge its policy on youth employemnet and create workshops on sensitise the youth on importance of being nationalist.
