Oasis takes on SORWATE in pursuit of a second win in the V.R. NAIDU T20

The V.R. NAIDU Twenty20 cricket tournament will resume over the weekend, with Oasis Cricket Club taking on SORWATE in pursuit of a second victory when both side square off at Kicukiro.

Both sides are placed in women Division II NAIDU T20 competition category and having won their opening game against Phoenix CC last weekend by 8 wickets, Oasis will be aiming to give SORWATE an edge

At Gahanga cricket ground, She Guards will have to gather a lot of strength to overpower the determined White Clouds Cricket Club which is on terrific form, the Clouds who are touted as the favorites in this competition have won it twice.

The male category will take centre stage on Sunday, in Division 1, Challengers CC battle Kerala Hunters CC at Gahanga in the morning game before Right Guards CC (RGCC) play Kigali Cricket Club on the same ground. Challengers CC, where off to a flying start after defeating Kigali CC by 7 wickets.

In Division II, Vikings CC will have to sort themselves with SORWATE CC, Vikings beat Zonic Cricket Club by 10 wickets after posting 62-0 in 7.1 overs against 61-9 in 20 overs by Zonic.

Then Kutchi CC will have to execute it on the field to avoid a second defeat at Kicukiro, having lost the first opener to the Titans CC by 2 wickets in the last game.

The annual T20 tournament is solely supported by the NAIDU family; it started in 2013 and is played in memory of, Vardhineni Ramaiah Naidu who was a cricket lover.
