Youth, Women Leagues of CNDD-FDD have new leadership

Gitega, Burundi- CNDD-FDD youth league Imbonerakure and the League of Women ABAKENYERERARUGAMBA has elected new leadership in Gitega. Both party wings also started saving and lending association exclusively serving the members.

CNDD-FDD is a ruling political party in Burundi led by President Pierre Nkurunziza, the former rebel.

In the occasion that took place over the weekend, Denis Karera was elected head of Imbonerakure to replace Ezekiel Bigirimana, while Genevieve Kanyange is now head of the league of women replacing Rurahinda Bénigne.

Both promise to engage their efforts in consolidating peace and national reconciliation.
