Gikongolo Bishop Augustine Misago is dead

Catholic bishop, Augustine Misago has died due to high blood pressure, Great Lakes Voice has established.

According to the officials of Gikongoro diocese, Misago came to his office today driving, then he died in his office mysteriously, however, the diocese officials blame high blood pressure.

Born 1943, he became Gikongoro Bishop 1992 and 1999 He was arrested allegedly for his role in 1994 Tutsi Genocide and was set free in 2000 when the court found no evidence to pin him down.
